The footwell module runs headlights, windows, locks, signals and mirrors. When it stops talking, all of that dies at once — and a new module has to be programmed and coded to the car. Repair avoids that.
Covers E-Series BMW and Mini: E81, E82, E84, E87, E89, E90–E93, E70–E72, Mini R55–R61. Signs it failed: dead headlight or window switches, parking lights that will not shut off, stuck turn signals, unresponsive mirrors.
$200 for the module repair — bring or ship the module, it comes back plug & play with no coding needed. Removal and reinstallation on the car is quoted per vehicle; mobile service available. FRM3 only — the FRM2 looks similar but is a different module.
